Each of us holds a spark of the Divine inside. This is our soul, and it seeks out circumstances in our lives to bring about spiritual change and evolution. These changes can be painful, scary or just plain weird, but we do survive, and that surviving tells a story in our bodies and our minds. These stories play out over and over until the sacred learning is recognized.

However, this is where the reweaving takes place. We grow and learn when we tumble and fall. We are challenged and stuck… and we survive and become brighter, lighter and more creative. We evolve. We need to tell stories of our bravery in the face of adversity and general weirdness. As soon as we start sharing our sacred stories and we all get smarter. We all evolve.

Once upon a time we used to tell stories of bravery and courage and transformation. But now we watch them on TV. We have added a layer of anonymity and safety to our world, but sometimes we need to feel connected, and open to the whole unknowable everything that is. And live to tell the tale.

Each of us has a story inside of us, and only by sharing that story with others can we all heal and learn and grow and evolve. We are the heroes of our own stories, and sometimes we are the villains in our own stories.

Ritual allows us a chance to use the transformative energy of symbolism to cause practical and true results to manifest in the world.
